Safety Technical Trainings are designed to equip employees with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to recognize hazards, respond effectively in emergency situations, and maintain a safe work environment. These programs focus on reinforcing Power Design’s safety standards through practical application, including fall protection, emergency response, and jobsite safety practices

Key Outcomes

  • Develop the ability to recognize and mitigate jobsite hazards.

  • Build proficiency in using safety equipment and responding to emergency situations.

  • Reinforce safe work practices that support a compliant and injury-free work environment.

Program Format

  • In-person training sessions ranging from half-day to full-day courses.

  • Combines instructor-led instruction with hands-on practice using real-world equipment and scenarios.

  • Includes demonstrations, interactive exercises, and skills-based learning to reinforce application in the field.

Enrollment

Enrollment is managed by the Safety team in conjunction with Learning and Development's Ops Excellence team, working directly with department leaders to schedule participants and confirm eligibility. Certain trainings are required based on role, jobsite exposure, or level, with additional sessions available by request.​
