
Mentoring Program - Superintendents

The Superintendent Mentoring Program provides newly promoted Superintendents and Superintendents leading a new project type, region, or customer with structured support, training, and guidance as they develop in their role at Power Design. The program focuses on building capability in field leadership, project execution, and customer relationships through experienced mentor support.

Program Format

Delivery: In-person and virtual​

Mentor meeting locations and cadence determined by pairings

L&D trainings occur virtually every month

​Required Components:

Mentors and mentees engage in regular jobsite walks, one-on-one discussions, and production meeting participation to support real-time development and project success.​

Quarterly feedback surveys help mentors and mentees track progress, identify development opportunities, and support ongoing growth.

Participant Requirements
-
Operations Leadership identifies and recommends Superintendents who are newly promoted and may be taking on a new product type, region, customer, or business need.

Participants are paired with an experienced Senior Superintendent or qualified field leader selected by Operations Leadership to provide guidance and development support.

Mentorship concludes when the mentee has demonstrated growth in the role and both the mentor and Operations Leadership recommend program completion based on individual and project performance.
